The TwinStore continues to grow!
Afag GmbH is now officially represented in the TwinStore - the online store for 4D models. Together, TwinStore and Afag are pursuing the goal of making it easier and faster for your customers to get started with virtual commissioning by providing prefabricated digital twins of your components.
Successful partnership for innovation
Afag GmbH has already proved to be a pioneer in a joint project with CADENAS, ISG Industrielle Steuerungstechnik GmbH and TwinStore. In close cooperation with Afag as a pilot customer, existing 3D models of the electric linear modules, the new rotary module with integrated controller and an IO-Link-capable electric gripper were converted into 4D simulation models that can be used directly for simulation purposes. A simulation project was then created on this basis, which was presented at automatica last year and received a lot of positive customer feedback.
Another step towards digital transformation
Having been part of the TwinStore community for some time, Afag has now taken the next step: official listing in the TwinStore! With its own model catalogue, Afag is driving the TwinStore forward, particularly in the area of assembly. Our users now benefit from an even greater variety of ready-to-use and real-time capable 4D models. With their help, even larger simulation models can be created in the shortest possible time without much modelling effort and processes can be virtually optimised and accelerated.
