We're thrilled to announce that we will once again be participating in the upcoming Smart Green Island Makethon, where industry firms challenge students to create innovative and eco-friendly solutions to the given challenges using smart technologies. Four days of collaboration, networking and smart & green ideas on the island of Gran Canaria lie ahead and we can’t wait!
Empowering students to make a difference
At the Smart Green Island Makethon, students can choose from various industry challenges offered by the participating companies. Using smart technologies, they have three days to develop innovative and sustainable solutions that will make the world a bit greener. This year, we are part of B&R's industry challenge and will support the students in the field of virtual commissioning and digital twins not only with our simulation software ISG-virtuos but also with the expertise of our experienced employees who will also be present.

With ISG-virtuos, students have access to a variety of tools for creating and commissioning digital twins. This allows them to design, simulate and test their solutions in a virtual environment, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness before implementation.

Beyond the challenges and projects, the Smart Green Island Makethon is also a fantastic networking event. Industry professionals and experts from participating companies come together to share knowledge, exchange ideas and foster relationships.
