ISG Industrielle Steuerungstechnik GmbH presents two revolutionary innovations at this year's SPS.
On the one hand, the simulation platform ISG-virtuos has been completely revised in order to cover the entire life cycle of a plant. Beyond the continuous digital engineering with the development-accompanying simulation model in the areas MiLS, SiLS and HiLS, ISG-virtuos 3 can now also be used upstream in the context of the process simulation and after the VC for training, maintenance, test and service purposes. At the same time, 3D project planning and the use of ready-made mechatronic simulation and data models massively shorten modeling times.
By expanding the real-time material flow libraries, the simulation platform will be of interest in the future not only to machine tool and plant manufacturers, but also to users in manufacturing automation and intralogistics. Even a fully simulated digital factory is now feasible.
ISG will also be bringing the TwinStore to market maturity at SPS Connect. Component and plant manufacturers benefit significantly from this: On the one hand, they can use it to seamlessly project the model in ISG-virtuos from prefabricated component models according to the customer's individual automation solution. On the other hand, they now have the possibility to include detailed digital twins directly from the component manufacturer and expert models from simulation specialists.
The proven control solution ISG-kernel is also represented at SPS Connect. It offers control, plant and machine manufacturers versatile, dynamically configurable software modules and complements existing control technology to a powerful complete system within a very short time.
