System requirements for HTML5 Help

The HTML5 Online Help uses modern web technologies such as responsive design. This supports various terminal devices with different display resolutions such as laptops, tablets and smartphones.

To ensure a clear display of the Help function, we recommend at least a DualCore processor with a base clock speed of 1.7 GHz and installation on flash memories and an SSD. Depending on the browser, the number of tabs open and the operating system, display of the HTML5 Help consumes roughly an additional 75-300 MB. Java or JavaScript must be enabled for functions such as Search .

To obtain the best view, we recommend use of the following desktop browsers (the last version tested is in brackets):

Mobile browsers for smartphones and tablets:

The following (mobile) browsers are NOT recommended due to display problems and poor performance:

Please note that program and operating system updates may cause unknown interactions. Therefore, the above listed browsers and the version information are no guarantee for perfect display. They are merely recommendations at the time of compiling this HTML5 documentation.
