Process (internal cycle)

Starting position before the cycle is called:

The touch probe must be positioned at the start point manually or in automatic mode so that the probe can reach the two reference edges without collision. It stands vertically, i.e. the touch probe rotation stands at 0.

The internal cycle process can be described as follows:

  1. If there is a deviation, the spindle position is turned to its initial position.
  2. The touch probe runs a measurement along the Y axis on the specified measurement path in the direction of the first edge and back to the starting position. This measurement is repeated with the spindle turned through another 90 degrees until a total of four measurement are executed.
  3. The spindle is turned back to its initial position.
  4. A measurement is executed with a negative measurement in the direction of the second edge.
  5. Return to start position.
