ID 21844

Start address and byte offset/index cannot be specified at the same time.

Description

When the external variable is created, the CNC normally assigns the start addresses automatically. However, the start address can also be specified explicitly by specifying a byte offset (see P-EXTV-00002) or 24-byte index or by the variable name of a preceding variable (see P-EXTV-00048). However, only one of these methods may be used at the same time.
