Manager R&D simulation technology
Dr.-Ing. Christian Scheifele
Area of expertise: Simulation approaches and models for digital twins, virtual methods and tools within the life cycle of machines and plants, MBSE, simulations architectures (e.g. realtime co-simulation), innovation management, ...
After finishing his studies of Mechatronics in 2015 at Stuttgart university, Christian Scheifele initiated the group "Virtual methods in production technology" as a postgraduate at ISW. Under his direction, the group engaged in topics such as simulation- and software-aided development, system planning, test, training, service and operation of production processes and plants. It very quickly became the academically leading group regarding virtual models, methods and tools for the lifecycle phases of machine and plant engineering. Since July 2019 he works at ISG and is - besides the ISG-virtuos product development - responsible for accompanying research projects.
